My local RSL is the venue for a community workshop tonight about suicide. The workshop is produced by Wesley Mission and LifeForce in partnership with the our local “Southern Highlands Suicide Prevention Program Inc.”
It aims to equip people with the basic skills that are useful for identifying people at risk and then for approaching them and communicating with them (especially about LISTENING I would think).
I wish I’d told people at church about it – it would be really good to have a strong church presence at this type of event.
